My Approach as an Educational Psychologist
My goal is to utilize my acquired skills and knowledge gained to help individuals see and recognize their skills when they are faced with challenges and know that they have the ability to redirect the course of their narratives and that the problems they face do not define them. Our challenges often drive us to forget that our lives are multi-storied and that one single story does not define who we are. The goal of therapy is for the client to see the problem as the problem and that the problem lives outside of the person, and it is the relationship that the person has with the problem that will determine the course of their lives.
